If you no longer need a trading account, you can close your IUX trading account easily through the IUX client area. This guide explains how to close both Live and Demo accounts, the key requirements you must meet, and what to expect after closing your account.
Conditions Before Closing a Trading Account.
1. Live Account Requirements
To close a Live trading account, your account balance must be zero (0). If you still have funds in the account, you must:
- Withdraw the remaining balance, or
- Transfer the funds to another account (if available)
Once the balance is zero (0), you can close the account. Please note that a closed Live account cannot be reopened or used again.
2. Demo Account Requirements
A Demo account can be closed immediately, and you can create a new Demo account afterward (subject to the platform’s limits).
How to Close Your IUX Trading Account on the Website
Follow these steps to close an account:
- Log in to your account.
- Scroll down to your account.
- Select the account you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot icon displayed on the account.
- Select Delete and confirm.
Closing an IUX trading account is simple. Live accounts require a zero balance before closing, and once closed, they cannot be reused. Demo accounts can be closed instantly, allowing you to manage and reset your practice accounts whenever needed.
