The trading account is not closed when the balance is reset to zero, and you can continue to trade on it after the balance is reset to zero. IUX recommends waiting until the balance has been reset to zero before depositing it to a negative balance. The process of resetting your balance to zero is automatic and you are not permitted to perform it on your own.
There are 2 cases for resetting the balance.
- If all orders have been closed and the balance is negative, the system will automatically reset the balance to 0 within 1–5 seconds. Please wait until your balance shows 0 before making a deposit. Once the balance is cleared, the full deposit amount will be credited to your account. However, if you deposit while your balance is still negative, the deposit amount will be reduced according to the negative balance shown.
- If there are still open orders and the balance is negative, the deposited amount will be used to cover the negative balance first. For example, if your balance is -20 and you have $30 in credit with an open order, and you deposit $100, the calculation will be: $100 – $20 = $80 balance, and credit will be updated to $30 + ($100 × 35%) = $65.
As for the 35% and 25% deposit bonuses, they are available only for Standard+ accounts. The bonus will be automatically applied to every deposit of $10 or more, up to the maximum limit specified.
