Managing your security settings on IUX is straightforward and essential for keeping your account safe. You can receive a One-Time Password (OTP) from IUX through three primary channels:
Email (By default, email is set as your initial OTP channel upon registration. You can switch to another method anytime.)
Phone Number (SMS)
-
Authenticator App (Recommended for maximum security)
Your selected OTP method will be used to verify identity during critical account actions and financial transactions, such as withdrawing funds or withdrawing partner commissions.
(Note for Partners: If you are an IUX Partner, you must update your OTP settings directly through the IUX Client Dashboard.)
Steps to Change Your OTP Channel
Follow these steps to switch from your current email default to another verification method:
Log in to your account at IUX website.
Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and select Settings.
Select OTP Verification.
Choose your preferred channel (Email, Phone Number, or Authenticator App).
Enter the OTP code sent to your current verification method to authorize and complete the change.
Setting Up an Authenticator App (Recommended)
To protect your account with advanced security, we strongly recommend enabling an Authenticator App (such as Google Authenticator or Authy) for both account login and transaction approvals:
Login Verification (2FA): Go to Security & Access and enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for secure sign-ins.
Transaction Verification: Go to OTP Verification and select Authenticator App to authorize secure withdrawals and commission payouts.
How to Link Your Authenticator App:
Select Authenticator App under the OTP Verification tab.
Scan the on-screen QR Code using your preferred authenticator app
Save your Backup Code: The system will generate a emergency backup code. Store it securely in case you lose access to your mobile device.
How to Reset Authenticator App Access
If you lose access to your Authenticator App and do not have your backup code, follow these recovery steps:
Click "Request to reset OTP".
Complete the identity verification form.
Check your registered email for confirmation of your reset request.
Once reviewed and approved by our support team, your OTP verification method will automatically revert to Email.
(Note: Admin OTP reset requests are limited to once per day.)
How to Change Your Registered Phone Number
If you use SMS verification and need to update your mobile phone number:
Go to Settings.
Navigate to Personal Information and click Change Phone Number.
Enter your account password to verify your identity.
Input your new phone number.
Enter the OTP sent to your new phone number.
Confirm to complete the update.
