A Margin Call is a measure of the risk level of an investor’s portfolio or maintaining the investment level if there is a risk. There will be a notification in the investor’s portfolio. The margin call level is at the discretion of each broker.
Margin call varies in each account:
- For Standard, Raw, and Pro accounts, the margin level is 30%. It will notify you once the portfolio is half negative to let you manage your trading strategy.
- For Standard+ accounts, the margin level is 50%. It will notify you once the portfolio is half negative to let you manage your trading strategy.
The Stop Out percentage is the Margin Level at which the system will automatically close trading positions if your margin level falls below the specified threshold. This is done to prevent your account from going into a negative balance.
IUX for MT5 offers stop out as follows:
- The Standard+ account has stopped out at a 35% Margin Level
- The Standard account has stopped out at 0% Margin Level
- The Raw account has stopped out at 0% Margin Level
- The Pro account has stopped out at 0% Margin Level
