When logging into the trading platform, many investors often get confused about setting up their passwords. Sometimes, they may use the wrong type of password to access the system, leading to login issues. This problem is especially common among new traders who are just starting with the platform.
There are two types of passwords in the system, each serving a different purpose:
- Trading Password: This is the primary password used by traders to log in and execute trades on the platform. It grants access to the entire trading account and confirms the identity of the trader. For security reasons, this password should never be shared with anyone as it could compromise your investment portfolio.
- Investor Password: This password allows others to log in and view real-time investment history in the portfolio without being able to trade or conduct any transactions on behalf of the account owner. The system does not require setting up an Investor Password when opening an account, but it can be set up later based on the account owner’s preference.
Understanding the differences between these passwords will help you navigate the platform more smoothly and securely.
